The book 'an Trodai' has combined two novellas and a novel touching on several generations of a family of warriors in medieval Ireland. This Historical Fiction novel begins with a Viking attack on a small village in Connaught in 893 AD and ends with the death of the founder of the Irish Clann, MacLaoghaire, in 1042 AD.
Set against the real backdrop of battles for power, the story follows the main characters Scolai, Daigh, Laoghaire, and Conall as they fight for the Dal gCais leaders, Lorcain, Cennetig and Brian. This epic saga blends action and loyalty as Ireland's future hangs in the balance.
